Fresh tomatoes are a passion of mine. I started growing tomatoes in 2016 in our one small passive greenhouse and quickly learned what an art it is. Everything is grown organically, started from seed and transplanted to mature in mid to late Summer.
Through trial and error, I've found proven winners for our climate but will consider other varieties. Send me an inquiry if you don't find what you want!
A prized heirloom favorite! The large red fruit are the quintessential staple on any sandwich or fresh eating. Bring extra napkins when slicing into this monster. Requires longer days to maturity and a warm protected growing area.
Large sweet fruit backup the name. Yellow/reddish fruit are slightly sweeter than the Brandywine and give a fun color flare to the plate. Requires longer days to maturity and a warm protected growing area.
The third large heirloom variety offering. Dark reddish-purple fruit have a rich complex flavor. A Huczek favorite in our caprese salad. Just add basil and mozzarella and your dinner is done! Requires longer days to maturity and a warm protected growing area.
If you're looking for high production on a determinate bush plant, look no further. This is an exceptional variety for the Bozeman area which will produce all summer long. Great for fresh eating or salsas. One of the first varieties on the farm to mature. Medium sized fruit.
A medium sized slicer grown on a large indeterminate plant. Invite your friends and neighbors because these plants will pump out large quantities of fruit. An early variety which does well in our short growing season. You won't be disappointed adding this to your garden!
Is there a more revered cherry tomato than the Sungold? Seemingly thousands of small sweet gold tomatoes are a kid favorite. Snack as you pick! Excellent in salads and a proven producer at our altitude. Large indeterminate plants will need to be staked.
If you have your eye set on sauces and salsas, you'll love the Plum Regal. Medium sized fruit on determinate bush plants. A very prolific producer with minimal seeds will make easy and tasty work in the kitchen.
I'm always experimenting with other varieties. Make sure you come see us during our fresh tomato sale days to try other varieties. Check back on the site or be added to our email list to be notified when tomatoes are available for purchase. Get here early as we'll sell out quick!
